Dr. Zhang used to successively serve as the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and the President of Qujing Normal University, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and the President of Yunnan Minzu University and the DeputySecretary of the Party Committee and the President of Kunming University of Scienceand Technology. She is the Secretary of the Party Committee of Kunming University of Science. She was ever elected the representative of the 19thNational Congress of the Communist Party of China, an alternate member of the 8thCPC Yunan Provincial Party Committee, a member of the 9th CPC Yunan Provincial Party Committee, a member of the 10th CPC Yunan Provincial Party Committee, a deputy of the 10thYunan Provincial People’s Congress and a member of the 12thYunnan Provincial CPPCC Committee. Dr. Zhang is an expert obtaining special allowance of the State Council, andwas the recipient of several awards includingMarch-Eighth Red-Banner and an Advanced Individual of Women Striving for Excellence. As a Yunling Scholar, She is an excellent and professional technical talent with outstanding contributions in Yunnan Province, PI of academic and technical field and the Innovation Team of Green Chemistry Materials in Yunnan Province. Dr. Zhang is the Director of the National and Local Joint Engineering Laboratory of Lithium-ion Battery and Material Preparation Technology, the Director of Yunnan Advanced Engineering Laboratory of Battery and Materials, the Director of the Key Laboratory of Applied Electrochemistry in Yunan University and the Director of the China-Germany Battery Innovation Center. She also serves as the Vice Chairman of the Solid State Ionics Subcommittee in the China Ceramic Society, the Vice Chairman of the Education Evaluation Branch of China Association of Higher Education and serves on the editorial board of Journal of Electrochemistry.
