Peter Finn

Peter Finn, Deputy Executive Director and Chief Learning Officer for the Society of Women Engineers, oversees all student and professional development programs at SWE. Before coming to SWE, Peter worked for the Goldin Institute as the Director of Education. While at the Goldin Institute he consulted with a variety of non-profit organizations on the topics of capacity-building, education, research methods and technology. Prior to the Goldin Institute, Peter worked as a program manager and developer at the American Academy of Pediatrics, where he led the design and development of their online learning programs. With over 17 years of experience in education, he has designed and managed a number of projects for a diverse set of organizations including non-profits, associations, educational institutions, federal agencies, and corporations. He has served as an adjunct faculty member at Northwestern University in the School of Education and Social Policy. Peter currently serves as Treasurer on the International Association of Continuing Education and Training (IACET) Board of Directors. Three years ago he was recognized as “40 under 40” by Association Forum. Peter received a BA from Clark University with a double major in English Literature and Film and an MS in Learning and Organizational Change from Northwestern University.
